How do you remove pitch from your new truck?

I got tree pitch on my new truck over the weekend during a camping trip. What do you use to get it off? One person suggested freezing it with an ice cube then rubbing off the hardened blob. Has anyone tried this?

are you talking about tree sap?

Have you tried a clay bar?

Try some WD-40 on a rag. Rub gently and see if it will take it off. After you're done, wash with Dawn and wax / seal.

Well I did try the ice method, and it did work. It didn't take all of it off in some areas, but it did take the majority of it off. I am back (this afternoon) from playing campground host for the season. Off to the car wash to get my truck cleaned. It is filthy inside and out. Hopefully the staff at the car wash won't faint when they see it.

Goo Gone for autos, followed by a soapy wash. Worked for me just a few weeks ago. Takes some time and some light scrubbing, but got it off.
