Not to offend any Sierra fans but I think the new front end on the 2016 Sierrverado (cause it looks like it is morphing ) looks nicer than the Sierra.

Main problem I have with the sierra is the gap between the top of grille and center of hood.

What is the purpose of that?

My last 15 cars and trucks have all been GM. Five new Silverados in the last seven years. I stuck with GM thru all the vibrations on my last three 14's, the "hairy" seats on the 07 and the 2012 and a water leak , bad prop shaft and rear end on another 07 but IDK if I could tolerate driving something with Christmas tree lights. Looks like the lights I have wrapped around my deck. Hated them ever since I saw the first ones on an Audi. Might have to make this one last a while. Sorry, but I like my old fashion head lights just fine.

I'm actually glad I got a 2015 and didn't wait for the '16 - I was thinking about waiting but took the 10k in fewer rebates I know I wouldn't have gotten on '16 this year. I like the '15 front end better - looks more like a truck to me. The new front ends are starting to look to much like an SUV front end. It also looks like they are merging the look with the Colorado a bit.

The double LED does look wierd on the Silverado. The single LED is much cleaner on the LT but I still dont think it looks any better than what I already have on my 15 Sierra SLT.

As far as the 2016 Sierra, not really feeling the grill on it.

If the tailights fit my 15 then Ill make the swap otherwise Im feeling better each day that I got my 15

I was getting ready to say I think it might be a ram air. But then I noticed it has a gap on the bottom of the grill.. hmmm

If they wouldn't have made the end of the center bars of the grille widen out it would be a much better looking truck. I'm also not a fan of the chrome lower insert of the LTZ,Z71, and HC trucks. It is like it is floating all on its own. The 14/15 LTZ trucks it at least fits tight to the chrome bumper.

Again, change for the sake of change. It looks a little overdone. The '14 and '15 look so clean. I always look at the '57 Chevy to '58 Chevy as evidence that change is not always a good thing.

Not that the '16 Sierra looks bad, just some weird design choices IMO.

And that gap on top of the grille is a bug catcher. That area on my '15 always has bug streaks on it. The new Sierra will have a big pile of bug goo collecting in that gap.

At least they got it right on the 66 Nova... the earlier Novas weren't nearly as attractive

Everyone who has commented on my '15 Silverado Z71 says "thats a really nice looking truck". The response is universal. I've then went and shown them pictures of the upcoming '16 and none of them like it.

I saw a '16 driving around my house the other day (I live 1.5 miles from the Tech Center), and I STILL wasn't impressed by seeing it in person. Looks like the tail lights got changed too, in a bad way...
