Tony Bianco Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 Long day today and rather than doing the same ol' change/shower/go through the mail/workout ...... I just had to unwind with my favorite Glenfiddich scotch whiskey and a Monte and RELAX for a while. So, how else do YOU relax?
Imcrazy Posted October 9, 2015 Posted October 9, 2015 Bulliet Burbon, Great Lakes Brewing Co., makers mark, buffalo trace, etc!
sahls01gmc Posted October 9, 2015 Posted October 9, 2015 With 3 daughters, I've forgotten what the definition of relax is. My 11 year old is in every activity/sport under the sun, and the 3 year old and 1 year old are beyond a handful. Right now, my moments of bliss are right after the last one goes to bed. Then that leaves me a couple hours to myself to goof around in the garage, get some chores done, or workout, or watch a game if it's on that night. My wife usually goes to sleep somewhere between the 2nd and 3rd kid going to bed, so I have a lot of time to listen to the thoughts in my head.......scary! Truth be told, my best remedy to relax is working out. Whether it's an hour long bike ride, running a few miles, crossfit or weighhtlifting, I enjoy all of it by the time I'm done. It's a great way to let all of the tension go, and take out any aggression/anger in a healthy way. Plus, the booze tastes better after a great workout! Doesn't happen muchRyan Are those lilly pads behind you? I can't figure it out.

Chevyguy85 Posted October 9, 2015 Posted October 9, 2015 Range trip, reloading, video games, youtube.
KARNUT Posted October 9, 2015 Posted October 9, 2015 Sunday is usually the only day I fully relax for the day. Then I kick back and watch nascar, football or baseball. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
dirtfan21 Posted October 9, 2015 Posted October 9, 2015 A case of beer or bottle of Crown, a campfire, my wife, a couple close friends, country on the radio, and a million stars in the sky. That my friends is my slice of heaven.
Tony Bianco Posted October 9, 2015 Author Posted October 9, 2015 Doesn't happen much Ryan Yeah, but it looks like you take full advantage when it does!

barry G Posted October 9, 2015 Posted October 9, 2015 I forget what real life is with these posts. I am disabled.. but stay active. Pain is no relax, but do find some exits. I am in a part of maine with protected woodlands all around. Walking the roads where no one is around for at least a square mile or more...priceless. 42f seems to be near the high for today. The leaves are vivid, air is crisp. coffee is my poison. This is outside my window. Very nice...its only going to get brighter before it is done. Getting older is not easy... to remember the beech and yellow birch and oaks, giants of what used to be clean, adding many colors. A lot of that is gone. Maple seems to have taken over... I can live with that. Looking at a temperature map of any given day has this region a shade of cooler than 49 other places. anyway, my relax is short lived, its in the autumn for a short time.
