New tail lights

Recommended Posts

After looking at the new tail lights in person, think it may be time to upgrade them on my truck, any one thinking to do the same thing?

I haven't seen any, how different are they?

Ill be upgrading the outdated tailights on my 15 Sierra with the new 16 LEDs sometime early next year.

Hope to find a good deal on Ebay or Craigslist.

Hopefully they will work, the exterior lighting engineer from GM said they wont work due to some programming changes in the BCM that will be needed.

I don't know who would want to get rid of them for aftermarket, as they look pretty good

We have a set here of the Chevy and the GMC, really like the GMC, will make them work, then post how and what you may need to do the Mod.

I have the Anzo clear lens led black and the 3rd brake led. Totally changed the look on the back end of my truck.

I was looking at the anzo led lights, since you have them do you know where they are made.

China

I'll wait for depo to make a knock off of them, much cheaper and you wont be able to tell the difference.

Say that after a year or 2.

I've owned depo headlights and tail lights in the passt and they held up just fine.

Good for you, but one more time this is for members that want to step up to the new OEM look, so can we stay on that?

Where did you get them? Since this is an OEM thread, I assume you mean you have a set of 2016 Sierra and Silverado LED tails?

I can't find parts for 2016's anywhere yet. Thanks!

We buy parts from all over, there known as surplus, there pre production units, but there the ones on the trucks, we recived a 2500HD headlight 2 years before the truck came out, its how we make our harnness.

Glad we have professionals like you on the forum! Wow

Your website has all of the stuff I have been looking for. The fog light hi beam override harness is a bargain, and, unlike the forum mod here, I will still be able to have full control the fog lights.

And I love the idea of disabling the DRL's with your harness, if I convert to HID. I love it that I can run my fogs as DRL's if I choose to.

Can't wait to see the kit you come up with to put '16 headlights in a '14-15. No harm in dreaming, right?
