Can this frame be fixed?

I bought a wrecked 04 RCSB Silverado for the motor and transmission for my 81 Camaro. But for what I have in it I wouldnt mind fixing it if the truck could be fixed. Sorry for the crappy pics it was getting dark out. You can see in the pics where the frame was pushed in and is touching the driver side manifold. The guy I bought the truck from said that he hit a bank going 40mph.

It's not worth it it will take a lot of pressure and some heat to move that and you can only heat it so much per GM and ICAR. When it's that bad we replace the frame. You might can find a junkyard chassis cheap and just replace it but I wouldn't recommend trying to straighten it.

Even if it can be fixed, it will never drive correctly, you will always have some sort of problem.

Don't bother. I'm sure it seems tempting, but there's way more involved in making that truck fixed CORRECTLY, and it's not worth the money. Just put the extra cash into your 2nd gen!

Yea I figured it wouldnt be worth it. I guess I'll pull the engine, transmission and wiring harness for the camaro. And part the rest of the truck out.

That's about the same frame damage that my '06 sustained early this year. Me personally, let it go and just take the engine and trans as you originally planned.
