FNG from California

Hi everyone. I have been lurking for a couple weeks now and thought I would interduce myself.

I just recently bought a 2015 Sierra 1500 Z71. Coming from mostly older Toyotas and Volvos, I am liking this truck. I bought it for work and to have something new. I still like to tinker on my Volvos though.

I am from Central California, a small rural coastal "town" called Big Sur. Some might know of it, some might not. I caretake a large property here and also am a Captain with the local Vol. Fire Dept.

I have been an enthusiast of anything thatt has an engine and wheels since I can remember and have always liked tinkering on things. I'm slowly learning what I can about my truck and will probably start tinkering with it soon enough.

Anyhow, I have found tons of great info on this site, and seems like there are some pretty cool people around. I hope to learn more and get to know some of you. Thanks in advance for any help you give me and letting me be a part of this community.
