45,000 Mile Major Service - Really Needed?

50k mile transmission service to me is a wise thing.  Most on here would be accomplishing that, what, every 4 years, so the cost would be not a major factor if not done by the owner.

I agree servicing trans early is not a waste of money. These trucks have their weak links and the trans seems to be one of them.

Do the transfer case for sure especially if you have driven in Auto alot I change mine every 25k. Ive had 4 GM 4wd over the years ignore the transfer case and it gets $$$

As for cabin filter I bought a K&N no more tossing. All truck fluids were changed to Amsoil after driven off lot but the coolant and brake fluid, which will be done at 60,000kms
