Drop in liner

Where is the best place to purchase a drop in bed liner until I can get my bed sprayed. I've searched around online and seem to have a hard time locating a drop in liner, for a 2015, with tie downs. Anyone have a good "parts" website?

Honestly, you are better off with no liner than a drop in.

Drop in liners just move around and vibrate, and since dirt always gets underneath, in a very short amount of time you will end up with paint rubbed right through down to bare metal. Scratching the paint in the bed with a few objects now and then is better than a drop in. They will scuff the hell out of your bed anyways to apply a spray in liner, so unless your going to let your box rust before they can spray it on, it won't matter.

I've run drop in Pendaliners in every one of my trucks since the early 90s. Never had any issue with the paint rubbing off in the bed... and I had my 01 and 07 for well over 5 years each.

Sounds like sprayin liner propaganda to me.

That said... Spray in liners are a lot tougher if you use a truck for heavy duty for sure.

I know some guys that bought Duraliners off the web. They come in pieces and you can install it yourself. Another option is to buy a bed mat (Bedrug mat, not the whole liner, for example) and us that until you get it sprayed.

Why spend the $$$ on a drop-in only to replace with a spray-in? Just use a chunk of carpet or get a cheap rubber mat. That's my $0.02 anyway.

just curious why there's a problem getting a spray in done quickly? my last truck (my current came with it) I found a place and had it done the following weekend.

I've had a drop in liner in my last three trucks with absolutely no problems. I will put one in my next truck.

Dropping $500 on a spray in liner vs. about 150-200 for a drop in is the whole reason....never thought about a bedmat, that would probably make more sense than spending even more on a bed liner.

I've become a spray-in fan, but before conversion it was always are 'roll-in' rubber mat. Protects the floor, stuff doesn't slide, and the tie downs are not covered.

Have always used drop in liners, usually pendaliners with a pad from a truck accessory store and the GM drop in on last two trucks.

Have never noticed box rust, and I doubt that abrasion from the liner could be 1/10 as bad as me using a bare back end. I like the drop ins because they keep your stuff above water and snow. (throw my ice shanty in back in the winter, canoe and kayak in summer)

They're easy to clean out as well.

I don't care what anyone buys, but I'll never do anything but drop in because I throw wet stuff in back year round.

I am also a fan of drop in liners but did not like how my GM version was installed with sheet metal screws when I went to pick up the truck. What is done is done though. Yes drop in may scuff the paint up but I have never had one cause rust problems. My work trucks do not have any liners and sharp tools are always being drug out of them taking paint with them. We never have any rust issues with that either. I just don't like how sticky a spray in liner can be.

So the main question becomes is there a good place online to purchase a drop in liner?

Have you checked your local craigslist page? That's where I bought mine for $75, it was a like-new takeoff that a Ziebart spray-liner shop was selling. I've also seen a local Line-x shop list them on craigslist too for only $50. And then I've seen private owners trying to sells theirs too from their new trucks.

If you have the 6'6" bed, $198 shipped seems fair to me:

I've bought from Jet and they have fast shipping.
