Infotainment screen went blank

2015 SLT 6.2 Crew 4X4

Screen initially froze on XM setting, would only allow me to switch to navigation which also froze. Turned off and restarted the truck to find a blank screen that is back lit but no information is displayed. Restarted following morning same issue, screen glows a dim grey. Disconnected / reconnected battery with same result.

 

I'm hopeful dealer can resolve.

I've seen this with a few other 2015's. Dealer had to replace the units. You did all of the steps to "reset" and it that doesn't work, they replace the unit.

my neighbors screen flickers on/off on his '15 Denali, he was told they don't have a fix because its software/firmware related so they won't even attempt to fix his at the moment,

Back up camera still functions normally. When I reversed into the driveway today turned off the truck, the screen switched to nav screen. Nav displays accurate location but will not accept any input either as screen touch or console radio/home buttons.

Maybe there is a hidden slot you need to put a quarter in.....

Update: issue resolved, 3 days at the dealer, replaced: Human machine interface module; repaired under warranty.
