New battery

What do you guys recommend for a new battery for a 2011. Should I get a Napa gold or a duralast? I don't want to order anything just best off the shelf. Thanks

I've always had good service from the Duralast Gold batteries but I have not bought one for a few years since the old ones are still going strong.

The main thing to good service life from a vehicle battery is to never let it set below 10.5 volts and NEVER let it go completely dead.

I'm a DieHard guy. I had a Platinum in my '01, but they don't make it in the size needed for the NNBS trucks, so I went with the Diehard Gold Advanced AGM. I run dual batteries in both my trucks, so I have four of them. No issues whatsoever.

I've had good luck with both of these brands. Best on the shelf is all I've ever bought. Batteries seem to me a lot more reliable then past times.

i got a little over 6 years out of the last battery from Walmart. if i remember there is only a couple manufacturers of acid/lead battery's, so most difference is the stickers on them, and price..

I've always liked Advance's batteries. When I had to replace mine, theirs had more CCA's than Autozone's so that's one reason I went with it. Plus you can order online and use a discount code and pickup in the store. Might save some money that way.

Ended getting an autocraft from advance auto. I got there platinum model has 760 cold cranking amps. Put it in and started the truck up didn't realize how tired the old one sounded starting the truck. It's the first agm I have ever bought curious to see how it holds up.
