Memory seat question

In park with key on, I have to hold the memory seat button down until it reaches my stored position. The handbook says to press and release to recall stored position. What do you guys do?

If the truck is no longer running, you must hold the button. When running you just have to press it. Hope this helps.

Mine sometimes does not function the proper way, but If the truck is no longer running you must hold the button. When running you just have to press it. In my opinion this function should happen automatically when you put the key in the ignition and same when removed, had a Ford that did this and it was great.

Anytime I press that button is when my truck is running. So I just press and release and the seat moves to the memory position even after I have released the button.

I think this can be set up in the settings menu. You also have to make sure you have the right key fob. They are not marked but there is two different ones. One for the #1 button and one for the #2 button.

on my 2014 I just press the button once and it moves to the position.

For those that use the memory seat, does someone else drive your truck or why do you need to recall the position? I'm curious because I've literally never used the memory function, not even once.

My wife rarely drives my truck, but when she does, everything is changed for the worse. She is 5 ft tall and I'm 6 ft. I really like just pushing a button and having my favorite settings back.

Same reason and I really like how the pedals are even included.
