2016 gmc 1500 4x4 drive train noise

That is the same tires and wheels I have. I spoke to the dealer again and now they are willing to put a new set of tires on it. I think it is a waste but they still think that is the problem. They are not going to charge me anything so I might let them do it just so they will be convinced. They have a GM field engineer coming in next week on another vehicle and are going to let him look at it. At 1750 miles I am just going to park it until solved. Drive something else. Getting tired of dealing with it.

I have the Goodyear SRA and the tires whine from 20 mph to 55 mph. Started at 500 miles and now at 750 it's just as bad.

 

Dealer said tire had some chop to them, and it's normal since they have an aggressive tire pattern.

 

Lots of BS coming from GMC dealers.

 

It is worse when the tires are cold.

I just bought a 16 Sierra last week and noticed about a day later a whine noise. I'm not sure exactly where it's coming from yet but I don't believe it's that tires. I have the max tow package that comes with different 20" goodyear tires than you guys have. I think it's something in the driveline but I'm having a hard time telling if the noise is coming from the front or rear of the truck. It seems to be loudest when you are around 50 mph but any faster the road noise tends to drown out the sound. The pitch of the whine does change with speed as you go faster or slower.

Mine is going to the dealer Monday morning for this whining/howling sound. It come on at 35mph and goes away at around

40mph. I only have 2,500 miles.
