Aftermarket stereo with Bose system

Is it possible to add an aftermarket head unit to a truck that currently has a Bose system? The stock MyLink in my '14 just isn't that great and I'd love to swap it out. However, I can't seem to find a way to retain Onstar, etc. if you have a Bose system.

No Nav, having to swipe finger to access the additional stations saved, CarPlay would be nice, having to go into settings to hit shuffle every time with iPod, no Siri integration, double tapping button on steering wheel to change stations, unresponsive screen, overall boring user interface, little audio customization, etc...

Plus if it was... you would be better off trading in your truck for a brand new 2016 then to spend that kind of money. the 2016 has Car play and is much better/faster overall. I had both the 2014 and 2016.
