Tinted front windows as legally dark as I could went 5% on back windows and rear with a 5% eyebrow on the windshield. Got running boards put on when I bought it. Changed taillights to anzoUSA led smoked, they are a little more gray than I wanted so I'm trying to find someone to take them apart and paint the gray areas inside the light black. Also removed the front air dam! Pretty soon I'm doing a "6 procomp lift with fuel 18"s and 35 ko2s. Gonna add a bakflip bed cover and some klearz turn signal lenses. I also want to change out the fog lights but haven't decided whether I want the putcos or if I want rigids. Oh and want to do a Corsa cat back but I don't want the tips showing!c890e5b8994f9bee652ef46aeb0647e8.jpga99a5bbc5180c6349748d7e3350bcbfd.jpg

Ya I thought about going that route but the more and more I think about it I really want the exhaust to be dumped but I want to find out how it sounds and I haven't found any videos of the 5.3 with a Corsa catback that's dumped.

I found my truck a few weeks back and I couldn't be happier.

So far, the only mods I have completed are tint and windshield film, Husky liners and a Tuffy console vault.

Next week I'll be adding leather, a Lund bull bar with LED light, and probably a set of running boards or nerf bars. I have been looking at the N-Fab wheel to wheel but I think I'll go with a 4" board / bar instead. I'm also debating between the Du-Ha and Husky underseat boxes.

I'll be reading through the LED thread for ideas but I'm debating between splicing into the fog lights and running the switch to the overhead panel.

Soft water, leaf blower, then final dry with a towel QUICKLY!

I put a coat of wax on my wheels as well, so that helps.

better question is how do you wash these dam things without getting waterspots!

lol... It's difficult that's for sure. Wash in the shade and use a waffle microfiber drying towel.

Lightly spray the vehicle while it's still damp with something like Chemical guys after wash spray.

Another tip - Make sure your waffle towel is also slightly damp. I usually drape it over the roof a few times before hitting the body of the vehicle.

Funny, I just read this after taking my truck through the wash this afternoon only to have it go through a thunderstorm.

I know it's a truck, but it's nice to have it all nice and clean.

I'm going to do a wax and seal on it in the next few days to cut down on the need to wash, though as a black truck it will need more care and feeding than others.
