For sure. I am on a eighty hour workweek. On my weekend I will post one up. I am glad I passed on the Midnight Editions saving myself almost $2,600. So far:

GM OEM Black Bowties $42

GM OEM Z71 10" Emblems $48

Removing emblems and stickers about $50 for materials (adhesive removal, plastic razor blade and 3M Magic Wheel)

3M Tints $89

Duratacs mounted $129

Powder coating $253

Brush guard painting $12 for a quart of OEM paint

factor in someone painting your grille bumpers factory black also along with the bedliner. i dont think the midnight edition was a rip off at all

I negotiated the Line-X bedliner included with my sale. That is getting done tomorrow morning. I am spraying the brush guard myself. I Cerakote firearms on the side all year long.

Are your grill and bumpers already color matched? If not, that will cost a few.

Yes. I specifically looked for one with matching OEM painted bumpers.

Ah. I never knew that. I never was in the market for a Silverado until mid May. My Jeep never did well towing.

Agreed here partially with you on the 2LT package, that's why I went with the 2LTZ package...still missing the suspension upgrade (not really that much of an upgrade)...what rear axle do you have? Believe Z71 comes stock with 3.42 - the LT package coming with the 6 speed and LTZ with 8 speed.

But the 2LTZ version comes with the LED headlights/taillights and color changing turn signal LED strip & fold in mirrors etc. I think it's worth the upgrades from factory over aftermarket.

Lets get this convo back to the Mods for Midnight Editions. I've blacked out my red Z's. Took about 2 hours total with prep/paint work. Now would it look good to black out the 71 lettering as well?

I waterfowl outfit and did not want the LTZ since the inside gets trashed October-January. The 2LT and LTZ are not comparable. I have 3.42 and 6 speed. Shocks are getting upgraded to the Bilsteins 5100s this week. My emblems are GM OEM Midnight edition just like everyone else.

The bar wouldn't fit the 2015. In order to remove the bolt holding the tow hook in place on the driver's side, I would have had to remove the whole bumper. It was definitely not worth the effort.

Now, I'll just look for a high-quality black truck box and go from there.
