Basic Tow Mirror

I have an early build 2015 and would like to add towing mirrors. I ordered a set of aftermarket from ebay but sent them back as soon as they arrived. They were of poor quality. I don't need the power fold, lights or even directional lights, just power (upper) mirror and heated. I am not sure that even the base OEM towing mirrors come without the directionals. Any part numbers or the like from someone who has experience with this would be appreciated. I read somewhere that the early builds may need another harness or two harnesses per door but that might have been to go with the power fold option. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

All trucks need the door harnesses. Early build HD trucks (pre August 2014) and all 2014 1500 trucks need a third harness installed to make all of the lighting work.

Early build HD trucks and 2014 Max Trailer 1500 trucks had the old body mirror on them, with the new door mount plate. You could buy those (they just have the signal in them) and put those on. You will have power glass and heat, manual extend and manual fold. They retail for $502 each. You may be able to score a takeoff set or find them on a GM parts site that sells at discounts. The new style mirrors are sold in a kit and are $625.

The WT mirrors are manual everything. No power glass, no heat, etc. That is the only old style mirror they use.
