No brake lights Need help asap

On my 97 k1500 I have no rear turn signals, or brake lights. The park lights on the taillights still work, as do the reverse lights. Third brake light comes on when pedal is pressed. Front turn signals work. Ive tried replacing both circuit panels and still nothing. also made a new ground for the tail lights and still nothing.

Dumb question but have you checked the bulbs? You should have a dual filament bulb, one will be for parking lights and the other will be for the brakes/turn signals.

Yes I have checked all bulbs. Ive traced all the wires up along the frame rail and all seem to be good.

Do you have power going to the brake light switch? And if you do then do you have power coming out of the brake light switch (for the stop lights)? Usually the upper level brake light is on a different circuit than the stop lights. That is for safety reason. But I can't be certain on that because I don't have a diagram. Also have you check your brake light relay?

Yes I swapped in a working relay for the brake relay and still nothing. Took a test light and tested at the connector in back and there is power to everything.

did you check the hazard light switch as suggested by drenolov? that switch will cause the exact problem you're describing
