2003 Tahoe multi function switch problem?

2003 Tahoe 4wd 5.3 flex fuel. When the headlights are on low beam and the right turn signal is used the headlights go to high beam. If you hold the turn signal lever up the headlights go back to low beam. I suspect the multi function switch is bad.

 

Has anyone had this problem?

 

I found a video from 1A Auto on changing the multi function switch but it says it covers up to 2002. Does anyone know if the procedure is the same for a 2003?

Definitely sounds like a crossed wire going on in there. Not sure if the procedure is the same.

Sometimes the wires in there get pinched - check before replacement
