New member and loving my 16 GMC Sierra

Just wanted to drop a line and say hi from KY. I purchased a new 16 GMC Sierra 1500 SLT z71 on the 1st of Feb and have absolutely loved it so far.

My past 2 trucks were Ram's a 1500 and a 2500 which I think were top notch vehicles. I have owned a 2001 GMC (wish I still had this truck) a 2009 Chevy Silverado a 2010 Chevy Silverado both of which were noting but problems. The 2010 was absolutely the worst vehicle I had ever owned. I had problems from the HVAC system to excessive oil consumption at the rate of a 2 quarts on a 4000 mile oil change interval and that was with no towing. SO I took a big chance with another GM product and I think the 2014 and up trucks they really stepped their game up!

The 2014 Ram 2500 Laramie kind of spoiled me to bells and whistles so I had to have at least an SLT when i was looking at the GMC's but really wanted a Denali however, the 16% off MSRP special was really hard to walk away from!

So I went from a Ram 2500 Laramie Cummins (The Beast) to a GMC Sierra 1500 SLT (Beauty)
