10000 Mile Gas Mileage

It's been 10000 miles since I got my truck. Pretty happy with the gas mileage so far.

I got all most 7500 on mine..15 Sierra DC 5.3. And I average 18-19 mpg. Seems a lot better then my 06 5.3 was. Happy with mine too.

Never late to work. I just don't drive like a bat outta hell. No need to, it just waste gas. If its an 8 hour trip you might save some considerable time. Just going to work, what's the rush, it's work!

 

Mine is a double cab 5.3 2wd.

before I traded my 14 Dbl Cab 4x4 5.3 I was getting 25.3 with 4 pass and bed full of luggage heading up to to Maine. Did it twice. Posted a pic on here a few months back, more than happy w that.

16 isn't that far fetched depending on your Engine and daily driving routine. I get about 17 in my weekly commute. When I bought this truck I'd thought I'd be getting the same MPG as my Avvy (~13-14mpg same commute) haha so I am happy!!!

my crew cab 6.2 is at a 15.6MPG at 3000 miles into its life.

I average 14-15 with normal driving, and if i drive like an old lady i can get up toward 18mpg.
