Just traded from a low mileage 2013 Avalanche Z71 to a 2016 Silverado Z71 LT. The Avy rode much smoother with its one piece cab/bed and coil rear, but couldn't provide the flexibility of carrying more than 2 people with the rear seats folded and cargo bed loaded. The double cab of the Silverado easily carries 4 with a fully loaded bed. And the 8" Nav screen sure beats the 5" screen of the Avy. High value of the trade and heavy discounts made the move to a loaded Silverado possible for just under $3K tail lights down the road. So, if I want a smooth ride. I'll go with the wife's Traverse or for sport kick the Camaro around the winding mountain and country back roads. Just finished installing the sport bar and bed lights and picked up a shed at Costco.
