Vinyl to match White Diamond Tricoat

Recommended Posts

I found some on amazon about 2 years ago that matched my white diamond impala. If I remember correctly is was like an 18 inch by 3ft sheet. I used it to cover my emblems and matched really well. I may still have some left over. I'll try to see if I can find it and see if it had the name of the company that sold it through amazon.

Came from a company called wrapco llc. Ikon wraps out of San Antonio TX. www.ikonwraps.com. 1 ft by 5 ft sheet for 14.99.

This is what I have ever left over.

avery makes it too...or use to. i had it on my 2003 CTS to color match the trunk bezle and the headlight eyelids.

it was very close, 2 layers over the darker colors like the bezle would have been much better.

i also did the yellow/abmber sidemarkers and covered the signals above the fogs.

i liked it.

i was cleaning out my garage last week and found a little of it but i dont think its enough to do the grill.

if you cant find it let me know and ill go out and measure, but honestly best bet is to have your grill painted if thats really what you want.

soak the chrome in scotch bright to remove it then sand, prime and have it painted.

Keep us (me) posted. Was thinking about doing it too. There was another brand on Amazon but they also had Avery.

I was ahead on my loan, got 9k more than I owed. ended up in a new truck, with warranty, and more options for the same payment. basically hit the reset button on my loan.

and loving it!

I just ordered a sample of the Avery brand from eBay...we shall see

Did you get the sample and try it out? What were the results?

Awesome.

im debating on trading mine in for a new one (almost did it back in feb) or just keeping it and getting a smaller car for my girl.

im just about to hit 60km on mine and i still love it...banged it up a little this winter, need a new rear bumper from backing into a snowbank on purpose just for a little extra parking room that happened to have a steel pole in it and my bike tipped into it and dinged a door but a paintless dint removal guy can fix that.

New to the forum here. Does anyone know of a certain vinyl that'll color match the Crimson red tintcoat (burgundy) for a 2016 GMC?
