16 Silverado headlight bulbs?

So the last couple nights I've seen the 16s headlights and fogs bulbs on at night and really like them a lot, are the 16s running HIDs or LEDs in them now? They are a bluefish tint to them but really like that look. Wondering if they would work in my 15 or did they change bulb sizes etc?? I know the housings won't swap but I'm just looking for the bulbs themselves.

'16's run HID or LED now. Both have LED Fogs...and trying to figure out whether they have HID or LED Headlights, I think I figured it out. If the Turn Signal LENS is Orange, the truck has HID Headlights...if the Turn Signal LENS is Clear, the truck has LED Headlights.

LED Headlights do not have a replaceable Bulb, so when it goes out, the whole Housing gets replaced.

HID Headlights run 4300k Bulbs.

Oh nice. That's what I needed to know for starters. Yea these lights had a blue-ish tint to them so I'm assuming it was HIDs then. No point in spending dealer prices then for HIDs

The LED headlights are sealed and have a module inside the back of the headlight. The turn signals are switchback LEDs on the LED headlights and run in a white color when your park ligths/headlights are on.

LED headlights are standard on LTZ and highcountry trucks.

HID headlights are on LT w/t etc. The amber lense is the giveaway at a distance but the LED headlights actually look very different in the projector. The HID headlights have like a chrome underline, the LEDs have chrome lines and the projector seems like its more centered.

MY question is this..

The HIDs are good, but the LEDs are WAY better.. they're so bright they hurt my eyes when they reflect off of thje cars in front of me.

Can I swap to LEDs if my truck came with HIDs? Since the light behavior is different (there's actually a cooling fan that runs on a timer on the LED headlights after the truck is shut down) something tells me we can't..

If your able to do this and the HIDs you have are able to be installed in my 15 I'd gladly take those off your hands if interested.
