Front passenger air vent

Was wandering if anyone else out there has or had an issue with the passenger side air vent next to the window does not blow as hard as the rest of the vents?

My friend just got a 2016 LT Z71 and I noticed that same vent definitely has an issue. It is very noticeable and I told him to take it in to have it looked at because mine isn't like that at all.

The 2 in the middle have always seem to put out more air.

I checked numerous trucks around of my friends and all there's have a slight noticeable difference but my far passenger vent is very noticeably less than all the rest . May have to carry it and let them check it out .

It seems to be , by damper Im assuming your talking about the vent manual damper ?

I let my friend test drive my truck today because he wants one, and I noticed this on my passenger side vent also. Its daylight and dark difference in the passenger side output.

My best bet is the its designed this way, in the trucks there is only rear foot well vents for the rear. Center vents are designed to move more air for the rear passengers additionally it has to make a full "U" turn from the fan so its going to be less, if there are no rear passengers then the front seats get all the glory.

I get what your saying camcamaro but if this was the case then every truck would be this way. I have checked numerous trucks 15's and 16's since and none are as bad as my vent difference. Gonna get it checked out soon, ill repost with results

Nathan, you can try removing your glove box it may allow you to look up behind the dash and see if the passenger side tube was not installed correctly/misaligned. yeah let us know what you find please.

My truck has the same issue. The pass side vent is really low in air flow compared to the other vents.

After further investigation on mine, I mispoke. Mine is like his, just not quite as bad. I am guessing they are all like this to some degree. Seems stupid to me, not sure the reasoning.
