So the difference between the 4600 and the 5100 is just the height adjustable? I have a 2014 4wd z71 with the 20'' wheels and it rides like a shopping cart.

Pretty much, the 4600 is painted yellow whereas the 5100 is cad plated. The valving is the 5100 is a little slower and designed for offroad use where as the 4600 is a little tighter on the street.

Does anyone know if the lower strut mount is included or do you have to swap it out?? My 5100's are on the way!

Will you post back with ride quality? I'm not interested in leveling my truck but the rough ride from the stock Rancho white and pink shock. I had a smoother ride in my 1989 Z71 with the torsion bars cranked all they way up.

Installed 5100's yesterday at top setting. Can't really tell much difference from the Rancho struts with spacers. Ride hight is the same, right at 381/4 in the front. I did it more to get the right travel they advertise. And the lower strut mounts are back on the lower control arms. I didn't like the spacers down there. I noticed the rear 5100's more than the front. I will say, if you have never changed out struts before but think you can handle it, it is a bitch. The coil compressor I used didn't work right and ended up binding the bolt then snapping off trying to back it off. I ended up taking them to Big O for $200. Worth it. So if you do t have a proper coil compressor, don't even bother!!! Back to the front, I'm sure after they break in it will be a bit softer ride, but for now they are stiff.

they charged 200 dollars just to put springs on the sturts??

Ive always used the ones from autozone you can borrow essentially and had no issues. Just us an impact when compressing the spring and go back and forth to each side little by little.

Yeah, I borrowed a set from a friend. When I put new shocks in, I couldn't get the compressor to tighten enough to put on the strut nut on top. The compressing bolts on the tool were bowed inward. Had to put snap ring at bottom setting just to get enough threds out. Then when backing off the bolts, they seized on me causing them to sheer off. My truck was out of service because when it snapped the strut assembly fell apart. And I was parked in shop at work and needed to get my truck out of there. So I really had no choice but to take a shop truck and have big O do the job. No one else open on memorial weekend. Shitty day fore sure
