Kicker 10" sub powered but no bass coming out?

Purchased my 2016 Sierra Denali Ultimate edition Friday and had the 10" Kicker sub installed with the built in 200w amp.

The only bass I hear in the car is out of the front doors. I fade it entirely to the back to the last setting and only the rear doors are playing music. If its not all the way to the back on the last setting only bass emits from the front door speakers and music from the rear doors.

I touch my hand against the sub underneath the seat against the floor and it's barely moving to the tone of the music but isn't moving enough to kick out any bass; seams like its moving a few millimeters. With the fader in the middle and my head up to the subwoofer there is no audible noise coming out of it.

Brought it back to the dealer this morning for that and one of the fog lights were never hooked up and they said they faded it to the back and is working fine. Didn't expect much out of part changers.

The bass level sounds exactly the same as my 2015 Yukon XL Denali with a good amount coming out of the front doors. I totally understand it's not going to be a banging boom box just a little fill in the rear but this thing has nothing.

Anybody have anything I can try? I want them to switch it out with a new one but they won't if they don't see a problem. Debating just going back to the salesman and refunding it and pulling it out.

If hooked up properly, fading the the rear actually seems to lesson the bass. I notice when I fade middle, that there is more bass.

I'm guessing the wire they tap to feed the speaker must be front.

You lost me on the part that if it is not faded all the way to the rear only bass comes out of the front and music out the rear. So are you saying that if you fade to the middle the front doors are only putting out bass and none of the higher range music?

There is the possibility that they accidently wired the sub out of phase. If that is the case the sub would be working but with the signal being 180 from every other speaker it would cancell out.

Can you access the speaker inputs to the sub? If so I would try to switch them and see if it helps.

You have a Denali, so you have active noise control = big issue with added Sub unless you disable ANC. Who installed the sub, was the ANC disabled?

Which part number sub was it out of curiosity?
