Weird noises under Leather seats?

2015 Crew cab Z71 LTZ with heated and cooled seats., buckets.

I have noticed on my drivers seat, that under the leather before the padding, it feels like there is stiff paper, like a business card or note card and when I press on the seat. It makes a crunching crackling noise and I am not totally bothered by it but I am wondering what it is? something wrong with the seat heating elements or something else? Can this grow into a large issue down the road? Truck only has 5k miles, has anyone else noticed this? it is just the front driver and passenger buckets.

It's the cooled seats that have that lovely crunchy material in them. Unfortunately, you'll have to live with it. It won't get any better.

I am not overly concerned with it, I just would have expected that crunchy material to start being noticeable later in life, as long as it doesn't get any worse I am fine. These cool seats are amazing here in Florida!
