Skeld Posted June 9, 2016 Posted June 9, 2016 Has anyone installed the accessory Kicker subwoofer from GM in a crew cab with Bose? I'm wondering if it really works, and also, where it fits exactly and how it's attached? And was it worth the trouble?
Bcp7272 Posted August 1, 2016 Posted August 1, 2016 I transferred my KICKER sub portion to my Duramax from my 14' 1500. It wasn't hard to do. I just had to splice into two wires behind the drivers side kicker panel and run the power wires under the hood. If I hadn't already had this system from my other truck, I would have gone LOUDER with an aftermarket sub/amp/control knob.
Daboom48 Posted November 18, 2016 Posted November 18, 2016 Great fit and it does the job... Good sound but need to trim your mats to not be underneath it
pogrelis97 Posted November 18, 2016 Posted November 18, 2016 Not much info on the specifics of the kicker sub, anybody know how big? power? Seems like for $700 you could buy a box to fit under the seat, 800W amp, and nice 12in sub and still save some money.
AgDoctor Posted November 18, 2016 Posted November 18, 2016 (edited) I have the factory Kicker sub with Bose in my 2016 Sierra. I really like it, sounds great. Fairly simple to install. Cost is not cheap but considering that this type of thing is factory plug and play, and it's a frivolous type expenditure, it is reasonably priced. GMC4Zee Posted February 2, 2017 Posted February 2, 2017 (edited) I thought the sub came with the bose system? Is it just sub ready??? I have the bucket seats and the sound system rocks. " The premium Bose® audio system features 6-speakers located throughout the cabin for rich, clear acoustics 7-speaker system with subwoofer when ordered with bucket seats Included with available All Terrain HD Package or Duramax® Plus Package" Edited February 2, 2017 by GMC4Zee
XSKIER Posted February 22, 2017 Posted February 22, 2017 7 speaker bose system has a 4" subwoofer mounted under the center console. It sounds like a really nice computer speaker system, definitely not like something snoop would have in his '6 4. 2 1
Bish Posted February 23, 2017 Posted February 23, 2017 I believe the kicker option is a 200W amp. There's also the JL Stealthbox option but that is over a grand without an amp and not plug and play. I did have a Stealthbox in my 2008 Yukon Denali and it was spectacular.
Snicklephritz87 Posted October 9, 2018 Posted October 9, 2018 Do i have to unplug the Bose noise cancellation if so which plug? And where? 1
johnathanryan30 Posted February 13, 2022 Posted February 13, 2022 I'm trying to figure out if the kicker subwoofer plug and play harness that comes in the GM Audio Upgrade, 200\\/400W Sub-Woofer & Amp - GM (19303115) system works with the 2019 Silverado 2500hd with bose system. Or do I need another harness or adapter to connect it properly. Any information would be greatly appreciated

I have a 10" sub under my seat with Bose but I think the noise cancelling keeping it from achieving its potential.
