Rear View Camera Flicker

Does anyone else's rear view Camera flicker when reversing?

Mine give me a flicker/squiggly screen once or twice for a split second when backing up.

It doesn't do it all the time.

Happens more often if I start the truck and start backing right away. Almost like I didn't give it time to fully boot up?

Anyone else notice this?

Yes........probably normal.

My Avalanche would always do that if I threw it into reverse immediately (within 1-2 secs) of starting the vehicle........also delayed appearance of the grid lines for a second. If I waited 3 or more seconds, no flicker and grid lines. Might have to do with all the accessories signing on to the CPU during the boot cycle, or voltage fluctuation caused by the reverse lamp drain during the process or something else. Never tried it in the Silverado because now I wait the few seconds.

Thanks.

I guess it normal. Really don't see it if wait or when I've been driving. I'll give it more time.

Tried it in the Silverado....it flickers and statics the same way if you shift into reverse before the dashlight/gauge test on startup .....wait 3 sec. and no flicker......didn't bother me in the Avys....doesn't bother me now.

Never noticed this in a 2013 Infinity G37 sedan - no matter how fast the reverse is engaged. It must be something specific to theseGM trucks.
