I think the new Ram is a sharp looking truck on the outside, nicer looking than the F-150. The interior is nice but too gaudy for my taste. I'm sure it will serve you well.

Had a Silverado picked out...going tontalk to Ford and Dodge tonight.

What a bunch of bullshit.

Apparently as long as you have a warranty it shouldnt matter how many times your truck breaks.

I think I need mental help.

If I was buying I would have bought the ram,but the Silverado is very nice no regrets yet.My girlfriend is a better person then most,I currently drive 3 very nice rides and working on a 03 ram that needs paint so it will be 4,lol.She drives a 12 Malibu, and don't care,I get away with murder.I do test drives and she comes and signs papers.

Last truck we bought we had 2 years and she drove it 3xs.I make more money too I think that defines me as a loser.

I promise you though if my only option would been 2016 ford or Tundra,I would have passed.post-159186-146738243769_thumb.jpgpost-159186-146738249547_thumb.jpgpost-159186-146738262481_thumb.jpg

She has keys to all the cars but don't drive them cause I'll be complaining about how she drives and parks,I guess I'm a real loser.

I always drove a pickup for work, so back in the when the kids were little my toys were driven by my wife we couldn't afford extra toys. My wife the trouper she if didn't camplain much. One day I brought home a clean 73 Impala. Shortly after the wife a kids went out of town for abit, a the time one of our business was a salvage yard. She didn't know I was building a 454 and my friend who had a trans shop was building a 700r4 for me, I already slipped a 373 in the rear the 273 was pitiful. So we through in the engine my friend got the trans in all in time for the wife's return. I go pick her up at the airport. Half way home she says exhaust sounds different, and why is the trans shifting one more time? She even recognized how 4th engage different and the locking converter, and I thought she wasn't paying attention. The only camplaint was the engine was to bouncy at idle so I had to put a milder cam in. Shortly after that she started working she started buying her own cars and I had my own hot rods to play with.

If you gave it a good test drive prior to purchase you'll be fine. I believe the vast majority of these trucks are solid and trouble free. I like Ford, but they were not competetive on the pricing last year when i bought my truck. Plus i don't like the Ford engines since they went with the dohc crap.

The dodge i don't even test drive after sitting in one. It had a tiny little screen in it for the backup camera, the rotary shifter is annoying to me, and the interior felt very cheap. Plus a friend of mine at work was a body estimator at a dodge/Chrysler dealer for several years until recently and he told me dodge still has corrosion issues. 3 yr old Durangos with rust in the same area on the quarters, ect.

My brother had to dump his 07 Dakota he had since new in 13 (for a 14 Silverado) because of major front frame rust already.

No thank you dodge. They all have issues, none are perfect, but the major, structural rust that Dakota had makes the surface frame rust on some Silverados seem very minor.

OP, good luck with your dodge. They are decent trucks, just not for me, personally, ymmv.
