Got a new truck today 2016 LT Z71. A few questions. Can I add tow mirrors that will work with factory control? Am I able to get seatbelt chime removed? Best level kit?

Welcome and Congrats on your truck! As for the mirror question, if your LT truck came with DL8 Mirrors (Power adjustable and heated), moving to any other mirror style will most likely be not plug and play. There are several towing mirror types. If you want power folding and all of the options they come with, I don't think you'll have the wires needed to provide all functionality. I wrote a detailed "how to" on how I converted from DL8 to DL3. Take a look here.

I'd love all the options to work. But mine only has power tilt not heat or fold. Still possible?

You should have heated mirrors as well. If you want power fold (car wash fold), turn signals, puddle lamps, etc., I'm afraid it'll be more wiring.

 

Take a look at this picture. The connector on the left is from the DL8 mirror (LT Model - My original mirror model). Connector on the right is the DL3 mirror connector. The DL3 mirror found on LTZ and High Country models have power fold in/out (car wash fold), auto dim, turn signal, puddle lamp. Some of these options rely on a seat memory switch (found on your door handle trim, additional circuits, as well as power fold in/out switch.

 

If you want all these features, you'll need additional wiring, harnesses, and parts to make these work.

 

Reverse tilt and seat memory recall (from FOB) appear to be managed by the BCM, so if you want that, appears you'll need dealer programming.

 

I completed this conversion from DL8 to DL3, but it was a painful process. Please see the details in the my original reply referencing the post.

 

Also, the door panel harness doesn't have all the wiring/pins loaded for the options to function.
