X61A Junction Box Question

So I am working on adding the auto dimming circuits needed for the DD8 Mirror. I don't have the mirror yet but starting looking at the schematics today and what I have/don't have in terms of pins/connectors.

 

I found the X61A Junction Box - LOL. Took me a while because my Kicker VSS Amp was bolted on top of it.

 

Does anyone know if the junction box is just that? A junction box? Is there any logic there like in the BCM? Here are some photos. It looks like a circuit board that just completes the circuits between the top side and bottom side of the junction box.

Thank you! I had been looking all over for the X61 junction block and found this thread but could not tell which was X2.

@pgamboa based on my research, it is just a junction box. A number of the instrument panel wiring harness and body wiring harness circuits connect there.
