Build date

The sticker on my 2016 Silverado says it was built 1/16. Is there any way to find the day it was built? Thanks for any help on this.

Ask your dealer for a copy of the build sheet or look at various stickers on different parts and that would get you close.

I got the day of mine just by asking. You can also enter your VIN into a vin decoder for a plethora of info. Not sure if that gives exact date or just location.

Just send a private message to the account "GM Customer Service" and say you want the build sheet and give them your VIN. They will send the whole build sheet with everything the truck has with when and where it was assembled.
