New truck

Finally got in from offshore, and after dealing with a jackass of a salesman, got my truck yesterday. I'm Happy so far!!

Congrats bro, you'll love it, the Tri-mode steps should be standard equipment on the Denali's, as I see you have non powered boards.

Yeah, I feel they should have been powered, but oh well. I'm Not upset, would prefer powered, but this new one is so much nicer and fancier than the '09 tahoe I had...I have no reason to complain.

Agreed - clear bra on these painted front ends will save you some heart ache from chips. Nice truck.

Ha...the whole paint is already a sore spot. Less than 500 miles on it, drove 7 hours to get it home...no chips. First night at home, I have covered, but not garage parking...neighbor's adopted cat has put 6 tiny chips and 6 scratches on the truck. I'm amazed at how thin and crappy the paint is. Virtually no clear coat to scratch. I'm Pissed. That damn cat will not live here much longer. Damage is done, but I'll be damned if it does that again.

I think they do this on purpose so they can sell you the extra clear coat protection that's part of the extra warranties nowadays.
