Bose Crackling

Every so often I start to get a popping or crackling sound coming through the speakers when hitting bumps in the road. It doesn't happen all the time though. This is a 2016 Chevy 2500 HD LT with Bose. Also I get crackling sometimes when I get phone messages by way of Bluetooth. Anyone ever have this issue?

not sure if your phone is connected via a usb cable or not when it happens. I replaced the usb port in my center console because every time I used my iPod or phone I would get a "crackle/static" noise through the stereo. no problems since.

It's connected through a USB cable in the center console, but I believe the crackling comes through even when on XM or with the radio shut off completely.
