2016 Denali running board hydraulic leak.

Drivers side hydraulic running board power unit dripping oil fluid on my driveway:(.

 

4,000 miles.

 

Anyone else been in the shop for this?

I believe they are mechanical in operation. Maybe a gearbox leaking?

I thought they were electrical driven motors?

Ok thanks, the oil is coming out the output shaft, it must be a gearbox full of oil.

Have the same drip…. Healthy drip of dark oil! Where is the reservoir?

Probably not a reservoir that's leaking. It's probably a seal on the gearbox. These are mechanically driven not hydraulic.
