What brand and style of Vent Visors are you running?

Pro's & Con's?

Done a bit of research doesn't seem to be to much info out there.

Don't want to spend money on ones that are going to cause problems.

Any info Helps!

Cheers!

I've got the gm egr ones for the double cab part# 19328981. They are in channel and only the rears have the 3m sticky tape the fronts are able to be held on securely just by the window channel. My only gripe is when I installed the drivers side I can't for the life Of me get it installed properly the driver window won't auto close the visor is kicking it down. It seems to work fine on cold days. I'm sure I can spend more time trying to correct it but overall I like them

I have the same issue here with mine when it's hot

Its not a huge deal as the visor protects from rain entering however better make dam sure the window is closed before a wash. If you gently roll the window up it'll fully close. Wonder how many others are having that issue. Clearly it's a product defect. Passenger side works 100%

I have avs in channel ones. If I could do it again, I'd do the stick on ones. I hate how the auto up doesn't work every time.

You have to reprogram the windows. Put them the whole way down, then the whole way up, then the whole way down again, then the whole way up and on the last time hold the up button for about 10 seconds. Let the truck sit out in the sun for a day or 2 and after that you should be good to go.

This is an actual process for the dealers that install the visors but I can't find the link to it right now. I know it's in their instruction sheets.

CADILLAC/HUMMER/GM

1. Hold the switch in the up position until set in the upper channel and hold for a count of 3. Listen carefully for a click.

2. Then hold the switch in the down position until fully lowered and hold for a count of 3.

3. Confirm reset thru POWER UP and POWER DOWN feature.
