Weather Tech mats

Are your Weather Tech mats slippery? Just got a set of mats, and seem very slippery to me.

At first they are a but slippery. May want to hit them with some dish soap, probably have some sort of manufacturing film on them. After a few weeks of dirty boots and cleaning them a time or two mine aren't slippery anymore

Yeah, just a quick wash gets the release juice off of 'em.

Yes, mine are almost 3 years old and they are still slippery.

Strange, I don't consider mine slippery at all.

Slippery to your shoes or slippery as in sliding around the carpet? Mine likes to slide around the carpet.

I've had Weathertech mats in most of my vehicles; they are awesome! I have never felt they are slippery. If you don't have them secured in the hooks on the floor they will definitely slide around on the carpet. The top I don't have any issues with but I also have cleaned them a couple times with a deck brush to get the dirt off so maybe that helped.
