This (old) article suggest the I2 will work with the '17. I didn't want to install it yet because I'm under my CPO warranty period. But...... I just may. I'll repost if I do.

Thanks,
Jon

Ahh I see. Yea I'm a long way from being out of my powertrain warranty. Still havent decided if I want to tune now or later.

With all the problems people are having with the 8spd i dont really want to chance it. My performs great though

Exactly. The 6.2 is a dream. Diablo claims 21HP though...

Hey I just read that adjusting tire size in the 17+ disables cruise control at highway speeds. WTF.

Hahahaha wtf... yea my 6.2 and 8spd has been an excellent setup.

My uncles 17 5.3 6spd was a dog. I much prefer the shifting of the 8spd stock. After we tuned his it was much better though

there is no 89 tune, its either 87, 91 or 93.

i installed the 87 flex advanced tune and I gotta say, its a totally different truck.

i disabled DOD, increased throttle to 7%, firm shifts, adjusted tire size.

ive had my 14 AT for 5 years. i love the truck but the thing that aggravated me was the throttle response. when driving at partial throttle, or going uphill, or going to pass, there was always a half second delay when punching it.  y'all know what I'm talking about, that hesitation and then lunge once it kicked it, even feeling as tho it didn't know what gear it wanted to be in.

now that's completely gone.  response is immediate and strong.  absolutely no hesitation.  before, when driving on the interstate i always felt like i was giving it a lot of throttle, even feeling like it was working harder that it should be. today on my first interstate drive since the tune, i looked down and was going 85 with barely any throttle, AND it felt like there was tons more available. i know my mpg will suffer but its worth it. i like driving the truck again.

I did a 9.876 in the 1/8th  at 72.7 mph with my crew cab. I launched in 4X4 and switched to 2WD right after.

I do the tuning myself and the engine is stock running at that time was 30% alcohol mix.
