Belt Noise (Replaced belt 2 times) PLEASE HELP!

Hello! Hopefully someone can help me with my issue. I have a 2009 Chevy Silverado with about 120k on the clock. My belt is making noise no matter what the temp is of the truck. I have replaced the belt twice and although this fixes the issue temporally the noise comes back after about a month. When I've looked at the belts that I have taken off of the truck they look brand new with no ware marks at all. I had a shop replace the belt the second time around and also had them check all of the pulleys and they said that there were no issues. So I'm thinking that I maybe leaking some fluids somewhere which is getting on the belt and causing them to sound the way they do. I have looked all over the engine bay and I didn't see any signs of a leak but I don't know what else it could be. The truck runs and drives fine but the noise is driving me crazy! PLEASE HELP!

Check Alignment.........Check Idler Tension? Are the wheels all on the same plane? Use a framing square as the straight edge at least it works for me because it has the length I need and it's precise enough.....Good Luck

The aftermarket belts are junk, and yes, the gm replacem are no the same as OE. Gates is the worst. See if you can find a good year gator back. They seem to be about the best. Continental sells one too that's the same design.

I've had issues with generic belts from parts stores making noise after only a month even when they still look brand new.

pony up the extra couple dollars and get an ACdelco or something of similar quality.

Goodyear gator back will fix your problem. I had same issue and I replaced it with that belt and noise was gone.

I have been reading other people going back to GM for GM's OEM belt for this problem too! I am lost just like I am about many things! Hey, good luck let us know if it works! I am squealing like a drunk pig here~!

Also, replace the tensioner when you replace the belt.

It will not last the life of 2 belts.

Really, I remember when they first came out.....Gator Back! I had luck with those on cars..........Belts in general are way better today!

I would probably spray a light coating of belt dressing (comes in a small spray can at almost all auto parts stores) on the belt a couple of times before I replaced it. Once it wears in it might be OK, if not then buy the gator back.
