Your problem likely isn't only the belt. Replace all the pulleys and tensioner and you will fix it.

There was a thread on this site a while back where a guy had the same problem. Turned out he need to re-align some of the pulleys and get them all aligned on the same plane. (see post #2 in this thread as well)

Have you had to replaced the power steering pump lately. A mis-installed power steering pulley can cause this. The pulley hole should be flush with the pump turbine.

Idler pulley is a possibility but, we've replaced many a tensioner on 5.3 and 6.0 engines.

Don't spray belt dressing on serp. belts. That stuff is for V belts.

Talcum powder lubes and doesn't harm serp. belts and quiets them right down, until ya hit a big puddle. I do my Co. Chevy van all time as they aren't changing a belt that still is in one piece.

As others have said, belt and tensioner should be consider a set when being replaced.
