Radio updates

How long does it take for the engineers to come out with a radio update have a 2016 GMC Sierra 3500 HD with the weather alerts and the nav traffic and it's not working like they're supposed to.Weather alerts keep unchecking and traffic does update right away for my area. Dealer told me that the engineers are working on a fix but it been 7mouths and no fix.

Warranty the radio and move on. GM does not like to update sold products.

He probably means get a case open with your dealer and have your radio updated and tsb's done before your warranty runs out. GM has been promising app's and updates since I bought my 2014 in 2013. Salesman sold me on that crap "Oh they are going to come out with all kinds of app's and your MyLink will be just like an iPhone" Yeah right.

That is what your warranty is for.

Had Radio replace hmi module replace and all updates done.
