Rear Under Seat Storage Unit

Does any one know if a under seat factory storage unit from a 2004 2500HD extended cab will fit a 2017 2500HD double cab. Any information would be very helpful, thanks.

I'm not sure on that, but I bought a new one made by GM that's designed to fir the 2015 Crew Cab. If that doesn't pan out for ya, the GM wasn't super expensive.

It might - in 07 they went to the split rear seat. I know on my 07 ext cab there are lots of lumps and bumps in the floor. I looked at a 17 the other day and it was much flatter.

 

Is the one in you pic a GM part or aftermarket? I am ordering my new truck with the GM underseat storage unit just to be on the safe side - it was only 230.00

 

I also ordered a new console organizer for the same reason.

It is a right from the factory installed GM under seat storage unit. I like this storage unit because it has a lid and it locks. The new ones have no lid and all of your items are exposed when the seats are it the up position. A company called Tuffy Products makes a nice lockable under the seat storage box for a Ford 250 extended cab but not for the GM double cab because of the hump in the floor.
