has anyone tried this setup? if so, do you like it? I have had good luck with Magnaflow in the past and have liked the sound. 15318.png

I have the Magnaflow #15268 (Dual Exhaust out the back). I love it. It's not too loud where you are annoying everyone but you definitely know it's there and feel it. Perfect setup for me. There is some slight drone when it goes to V4 but wasn't a big issue for me. I set my V4 to only turn on above 60+ mph so only kicks on when I get on the freeway so really not an issue. Good luck!

Jim why don't you try swapping your OE muffler with the Magnaflow 12909 and save some money for other mods. Did this to my AT and quite pleased with the result. The muffler shop measured and cut out both the muffler and flapper valve and replaced with the Magnaflow without any extra 3.5 inch pipe needed. Best of all spent less than $160 including the labor. If you aren't happy with the stock tailpipe have them weld on a stainless steel one.

on the installation, did you use the clamps or have everything welded together?

The clamps work great. No need to weld them.

I have always done that type of set up in the past. he only thing that I do not like is the way the welds, pipes, and out edges/flanges of the muffler rust from the heat of being welded together. I thought this was a pretty slick looking set up, and with the clamps it would very easy to adjust it.
