Lowered truck exhaust

For those of you who are 4/7 or lower how did you do the exhaust. Because I'm at 7 now and the stock pipe is very close to the axle and I'm going lower. There isn't much room to raise it either

That's what I don't want. I need to keep the resonator and. Don't want to hear the exhaust under the truck I hate that sound

Resonator? Don't need no stinking resonator. What, you driving in a funeral procession or something?

Just kidding. But seriously, throw you an 18 inch Maggie or Flowmaster 50 on there and exit before the rear tire with slash cut tips and you'll love it. Plus you won't have to worry about a Prius sounding better than you. You can almost control both of those mufflers with the throttle. Nice and tame while cruising and just a little tip in of the go peddle and it only gets as loud as you want it. Also V4 mode won't drive you nuts with either one of those.

I will never in my life buy a blow master, I just took my borla off and installed a carven tr. I love the sound and I want to keep it that way.

I think I found what I need though. Vibrant makes 90 degree bends in oval tubing and oval to round transitions should give me enough clearance.

Yours is stock pipeing like mine though. That won't help.

I used to think that way about flow master. Had one on a HD and it droned like crazy. I researched mufflers for several months this go around and decided to give flowmaster another try. This time I left the resonator on and bought a 50 series big block muffler with a 3-1/2 in and out. Almost stock at idle but the big 6.2 sounds great when I get on it and no drone at all.

What stock number muffler did you get? Did you leave in the flapper?

Krusty I think the part number is 53553 as it is the only option with a 3.5 inch inlet/outlet.
