For those with headers in the Houston area

Is anyone having trouble passing emission testing in Houston while running headers either with or without out cats? Just trying to get an idea of what Im in for before I get mine installed.

Headers no problem, leave the cats alone.

I was thinking of getting the catted Y pipe from ARH with the cats but Im not sure if those cats are enough for the emissions tests in Houston.

I'm also in Houston, I am running an ORY. Installed the headers right after I had my inspection done though. I had thought they just did a visual inspection for the cats and made sure the O2's were working on newer vehicles. Most of the ORY pipes look like they still have cats. I could be totally off base on the inspection requirements though.

Had headers and ORY for 2 years with no issues in baytown(Harris county). As long as it would pass the smog nothin was ever said

Headers,ORY and no cats in Harris County for 3 years and passed three emissions test.
