Reminds me of the old GM commercial about how there are more GM trucks on the road than any other brand.

 

I feel that's still the case, from my observations. I see 70's, 80's, 90's GM truck on the road all the time around here. Hardly ever see a Ford from earlier than the late 90's.

There are definitely more newer F-150s and RAMs on tbe road here than the K2s. There are probably more older GM 1500s than older F-150s and RAMs. Now when talking about HDs, its about even between Ford and GM. Colorado is definitely a Subaru, Jeep and Toyota Tacoma/4Runner state.

Ford mostly around here. Making my truck generally a little more unique.

 

If GM doesn't figure out their QC on that 8 speed transmission, Subaru will eclipse them here too...!

If the electronic issues that I witnessed and read about in the 14s-16s full sized GMs are widespread it could end up being a real set back for GM. Dangerous stuff, it's keeping me away for awhile. Still have my 92 GM and enjoying it.

This is making me want to try dodge for a few years while gm gets there act together

Steering wheel lock up because of electric malfunction is something that crosses the line. I do frequently check there and Hyundai I've owned them too. I do lots of research before I buy.

I owned an '09 Ram - loved the Hemi as well as the fit/finish of the interior. The truck did develop some electrical issues (e.g., window motor, weird headlight outages, etc) - sold the truck after 18 months. I've owned primarily GM products over the last 25 years and plan to continue to do so. I will say that around me (South Florida), Rams are being discounted STEEPLY, presumably due to low sales volume. A saw a fully loaded, new (leftover), 2016 Longhorn Laramie 4x4 that was still on the lot with literally every option available, sticker price $58k, asking price was $41k - I'm guessing they would have accepted $38k.

This is the order I see in So Cal: Ram, GM, Ford, Tundra. I've only seen one new Titan, OMG was it hideous.
