Location on passenger side to ground a wire?

I have been trying to find a bolt on the passenger side to ground a wire for an accessory on my passenger side. I can't seem to find one. Anyone have a pic of a good spot to use?

Pull off the fuse box cover. Look at the corner of the firewall and A pillar. Should be a few right there.

So today I learn that there is a fuse box on each side of the dash.

Goes to show it's been a while since my last truck 89 Ram. I now wonder if that little Focus I was putting around in had the same thing.

I will check this out after my daddy daughter dinner date. Thanks for the info.

It wasn't my ground wire. My wire tap didn't set properly. All is well in the world now.

:). X51L and X51R. In case you need pinout for connectors. Like, I didn't know there were two as well until I started poking around the Upfitter manual.

For those looking for a cheap and dirty accessory ground, there are small 5/16" ish holes in the frame for the center seat (if you don't have a console). Sand the paint away and ram a bolt through an eyelet

Found some strip LED lights at my local dirt Cheap. Basically what you can get from auto zone. Paid $7 for the strip $3 for a pack of quick connectors. I even stepped it up and spent another $4 on some good wire. Lol

I'm not 100% understanding this. Is there a thread or something you can point me at that will explain.

The Upfitter manual I reference is a manual used for 3rd party outfitters. Check out gmupfitter.com. This is where we obtain the electrical schematics for our trucks. For 2016, it's a 1688 Page PDF [emoji23], goes into great detail. The Fuse panels in our trucks are labeled X51L (Driver's Side), and X51R (Passenger Side). If you search for these labels on the Upfitter manual, it'll give you specific circuit detail and pinout locations.

did you connect it to a fuse? I suppose that's one way to go. I have a few led strips left from my cabinet project.. I think could use those.

I pulled off the little panel on the bottom rear of my center console and grounded from the crossbar behind it for my subwoofer upgrade. Works great.

I'll keep that in mind. Plan on eventually adding a single 10 later.
