Glad you guys got your issues with the shudder & shake resolved.  My 2018 Sierra Denali Ultimate doesn’t have much mileage on sitting at only 14,000 miles (bought new in July 2019).  I’m very happy with the truck, fuel economy, ride, looks, etc.  Been great so far, but this torque converter and fluid flush concerns me.  Hopefully, never have any issues, but wanted to ask a question:

You folks that started to have problems with the shake and shudder, around what mileage to your trucks have on them ?  Was it caused from heavy towing ?
Thanks to you all in advance....

Mine started about a year after I purchased it and maybe 9k miles, no towing.  I imagine in more humid climates its worse of an issue because the fluid will attract more moisture.

Thank you sir for you reply.  I guess all I can do is drive it, hopefully won’t be a concern.

Mine has 23K miles on it, no towing, and the issue started just this week. I dont drive it much any more since this pandemic thing, so it could have been sitting there, building up moisture.
I have an appointment with the dealer monday. I plan to bring the TSB with me to hopefully get past the first "couldnt duplicate issue" stuff.
Note that I did have some heavy rain about a month ago and may have partially submerged the trans on a washed out road. Not sure if that will mean it's NOT covered under warranty? Is the trans fully sealed or is it vented? Not sure.

Hope it all works out for you,  and dealer doesn’t play any games...

The TSB states diagnosis beyond customer compliant is not required, so there shouldn't be any reason they wouldn't perform the flush.  Heck for anyone who isn't experiencing any symptoms of this I'd still take it in and ask they do the flush.   Back in 2019 dealers were informed to flush any still on the lot, so if they are doing that I can't see why anyone who brought one in would get turned away, as long as it's under warranty still and the specific TSB is referenced.

Mine started the 'rumble strip' vibrating feel and took it in.  Never noticed it since, this also seemed to help the harsh 2 - 1 downshifts.

Looks like I need to make an appointment for round 2 of the flush.

I bought my truck w/ 32k on it, drive it around the town streets and never got on the highway (my mistake), because after doing the test drive everything seemed fine and after purchasing the truck, I was driving up rte 95 amd the steering wheel kept shuddering. Thankfully ai found d this article back then and brought it in for the tranny flush and never had an issue again until this morning. Getting the same shudder again at 54k. Crazy that this would happen again only after 20k miles?
