Trying to decide between 33x12.5x20 toyo mt or the new ridge grappler. I have a 2017 1500. Toyo is tried and true but I like the idea of the hybrid. Don't know anyone running them locally so I'm asking anyone on here their thoughts??

I just put 33x12.5x20 Nitto Ridge Grapplers on my 2014 Silverado and I love them. They look really good and are pretty quiet. I have an RC level with 2" blocks in the rear. They rub the sway bar at full turn, but that is expected in that particular size.

Member Toddboy23 has a GMC with Toyo's and was the inspiration for my set up.

Salt consider the Toyo RT as well. Have them on my truck and they look and drive great. Not too noisy on highway as well.

I read on this forum for over a month trying to decide on tires. I finally went with Nitto Ridge Grappler in 295/55/20 on stock rims. I have gotten lucky enough to have them in snow and mud on a 500 mile trip i took. They handled perfectly and ride really quiet for such an aggressive tire. I love the way they look on my truck. They barely rub on stock 20's at full lock. I will post some pics this week.

I like the look of those. But I know some people running those that wished they would have just gotten the m/t.

Well I live in Georgia so no snow here lol but as far as mud goes we have plenty. I'm glad to hear they handled mud. Thanks for the input!

Nitto's website has some good info on their tires. For some reason the 33x12.5x20 has more tread depth than the 295/55/20 but is the same height. The 295's are also 7 lbs lighter.
